How donations are processed
Online gifts are processed securely by Stripe. KSSSAR never sees or stores your full card number. You receive an emailed receipt from Stripe for each gift.
How gifts are used
Donations support the Society's programs, such as youth contests and awards, education, patriotic and commemorative events, and general operations.
You may direct your gift to a specific Society fund; note the fund when giving or contact us.
Tax status
The Kansas Society, Sons of the American Revolution is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Stripe will email you a receipt; please keep it for your tax records. Consult your tax advisor about your situation.
Refunds
If you made a mistake with your donation (for example, a wrong amount or a duplicate gift), contact us within 30 days through our contact form and we will work with you to refund it through Stripe. Other refund requests are reviewed case by case.
Membership dues
Membership dues and renewals are handled separately on the members site and are not covered by this policy.
